FurTaStitch Designer-Teacher Sample & Subscription Program

The FurTaStitch Collection Subscription program is open to all.
The initial purchase includes a collection of all current colors (approximately 50) and updates of new colors as released by italYarns.

Development Sample Program:

Qualified Designers, Teachers, Authors & Project Developers may request limited supplies of specific colors & quantity for project development.

The FurTaStitch Developer Endorsement program is administered jointly and at the sole discretion of italYarns and the YARNandTHREAD NETwork (ital/YaT).

A Developer Endorsement program is an honorarium to the entity who publishes a project which incorporates the use of FurTaStitch.

The amount of the honorarium is determined at the sole discretion of the program administrators.

All communication is conducted in the English language.

Who Qualifies for Development Samples:

The program is open to all who publish, however, the degree of endorsement varies and is at the sole discretion of italYarns and YaT and may include the following:

Magazine Contributors:
If you currently primarily publish in book form, or as a contributor to periodicals and books edited/author by others, you may qualify for development samples.

Independent (self) Publishers
Independent Manufacturer (Kit Makers)
may qualify for wholesale purchasing. Pricing will depend on putup and quantity.

Kit Makers, we will be offering special order/pricing for 100 meter and 250 meter put ups - please keep in mind that these will be shipped from Italy and you will need to allow time shipping. Neither YARNandTHREAD or italYarns can control or even foresee possible customs delays.

Designers & Teachers whose membership in either TNNA or CHA can be verified will be considered as pre-qualified for limited development samples. Self-Publishers of Thread or Stitch guides and directory will be asked to provide sample publication.
Independent Self-Publishers & Manufacturers (IPM) may be asked for additional proofs of publication/distribution of their products either wholesale or retail.

What is offered to IPM’s & Teachers.

Qualified IPM’s will be eligible to qualify for reduced price Subscription sets

Qualified IPM’s will be eligible to for limited quanity of product for model stitching.
Qualified IPM’s will be eligible to purchase at wholesale & distributor discount (discount is based on quantity)

Is there any additional compensation for the use of FurTaStitch:

In addition to limited samples for individual product development, at the sole discretion of italYarns and YARNandTHREAD, some IPM’s & teachers may qualify for additional consideration.

This will be based on several factors,

- amount of product used in the design

- other products promoted

- type of publication

- how the Chart/Pattern/Instructions are being distributed

- authorization for project photo use on distributor websites (with full attribution to the Designing Author)

- how product is specified.

We understand you may feel it necessary to suggest alternatives, to qualify for any endorsement other than replacement of threads used in your subscription collection; will only be provided where both “Model Used” and thread specified ONLY lists FurTaStitch colors and quantity needed.

We require that a link to the FurTaStitch information domain

be included in the project information section.

We believe that IPM’s & Teachers should let their consumers know that FurTaStitch is the best material for the project. It is just not possible for a IPM or Teacher to determine what quality in the final project will be acceptable to the individual Stitcher or Student so suggesting alternatives is not in the best interests of either the IPM/Teacher or FurTaStitch

If project material list is published with alternatives to FurTaStitch, endorsement benefit will be limited to replacement of colours and quantity used in the design.
